4th of July!! It was really fun this year...we got to have Leo, Jana, and the kids with us as we celebrated the 4th this year. We went down to Ann Morrison and watched the fireworks. Elly loved the fireworks. She never took her eyes off of them. She didn't cry at all. Everyone had glow sticks and it was just fun! Melissa was a little freaked at how loud they were being at the park. The only thing that made me sad was that Tony had to close that night so he was alone at the store just watching fireworks out of the store window. I really wish he could have been with us! There were so many people there too! We were trying to cross the street afterwards and the policeman wouldn't let Grandma cross with the rest of us and she had Dakota, Ben, and Melissa with her. We just watched them from across the street...it's scary to watch your child from across such a big street in the midst of a ton of people. Grandma had a good hold of all 3 of them, but when they crossed, most of the people just swarmed them and we lost sight for awhile until they made it across. It was a little scary, but they made it!! Another great year of fireworks!!
