Had a great time at the zoo with the Berejkoff's, Mom and Dad, and Madisyn and Dillon. I really enjoyed watching Abby do the signs for the animals that she liked...penguin was my favorite...of course :-) I love how excited she got when she saw them!

Elly with her fake Elephants...that spit water. Favorite moment...a little girl comes up and asks what is coming out of the elephant's trunk and without a moment of hesitation Melissa says...Elephant spit. LOL...the look on the girls face was priceless! Just kidding little girl it's just water!!
My other favorite was the butterflies...landing on Elly. It kind of freaked her out a bit...she didn't like it on her so much. She just kept moving her arm so it would come off. They were landing on us like crazy, it was so much fun!
Waiting to get out of the butterflies...so the tragic, sad story of the day...Melissa had 6$ that she brought with her so she could buy something. I offered to hold it for her, but she insisted she would keep it in her purse. We had to leave before everyone else so we could go get the kids so in our rush I told her we would stop by the shop and she could buy something. Somewhere between going into the zoo and the shop she lost her 5$ bill so was not able to buy anything :(...lets just say it was a very sad ride home and a hard lesson learned because she went home empty handed. Sad, sad little girl. Necessary lessons to be learned though!
